About Us
The Croatan Band is located in coastal Carteret County North Carolina. The Program has a proud heritage of success in the areas of concert band, jazz band, percussion ensemble, and color guard.
Awards & Recognitions
2024
March - Superior Ratings at State MPA - Grade 6
2 members win placement into the NC All-State Band
February - 4 members win placement into the NCBA Eastern All-District Honors Jazz Band. All members also earned All-State Eligibility.
January - 20 members win placement into the NCBA Eastern All-District Honors Band. 10 of those members also earned All-State Eligibility.
2023
April - 4 Members selected for the 2023 NC Governor's School in the area of instrumental music.
March - Superior Ratings at State MPA - Grade 6-Masterworks.
4 Members earn placement into the NC All-State Honors Concert Band.
February - 5 Members earn placement in the NC Jazz Region East All-Region Jazz Band.
January - 25 Members win placement into the NCBA Eastern All-District Honors Band. 13 Of these members also earned All-State Eligibility.
2022
March - Superior Ratings at State MPA - Grades 4/5 and Grade 6.
2 members earn placement in the NC All-State Jazz Band.
3 Members earn placement in the NC All-State Honors Concert Band.
February - 3 members earn placement in the NC Jazz Region East All-Region Jazz Band.
January - 19 Members win placement into the NCBA Eastern All-District Honors Band.
9 of these members also earned All-State Eligibility.

May - 14 Small and Large Ensembles earned Superior Ratings at Solo & Ensemble MPA
April - Junior Patrick Reindl, 1st Chair Alto Sax - NC All-State Honors Band
